Bagged Product

The shape and size of bagged product tends to create many natural voids within a loaded railcar, as well as those created by product overhang and underhang on the pallets themselves.

These voids allow for both side-to-side and front-to-back shifting in transit, and lead to the unfortunate effects and high costs of damage. But, DPC has a solution to ensure a safe transit.

Here is an example of a customized load securement solution we have created for shipping bagged product.

Void fillers are positioned between the palletized product to secure the load and alleviate side-to-side shifting in transit. Protecto-Cell Panels are also used in conjunction with air bags to further protect the bagged product and ensure a safe trip.
